Mr. Akinyemi has many leadership roles including the President and CEO of the Global African Business Association (GABA), the CEO of Swann Express LLC, an import/export company, Managing Director of KVS Management of America (based in Abuja, Nigeria) Chairman of the Inkster Downtown Development Authority, President of the Leanna Hicks Library of Inkster (MI), State Chairman of the African Union 6th Region Diaspora Network, and Vice-President of the Nigerian American Public Affairs Committee (NAPAC-USA) and President of the STEM and LEAF Institute Board of Directors. Akinyemi has a B.S in African American Studies from Eastern Michigan University and a M.A. in Education with an emphasis in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix.
