Phillipa Sibanda, is a Social Impact Entrepreneur who currently serves as a Board Chairperson for Harare Central Hospitals’ Public Relations and Fundraising Committee in Zimbabwe.
Ms. Sibanda comes from a diverse back- ground and professional experience such as aviation, telecommunications and healthcare. She spent the last 15 years of her career in the U.S. Healthcare sector with multiple successful projects under her belt. In her time in healthcare she was involved in the implementation and training of electronic medical record systems (EMRs), as well as Telemedicine Robotic Projects and Clinic Start-ups.
Ms. Sibanda is a TEDx Speaker who’s thrust is to bridge the gap for African Diaspora’s increased engagement and participation in the development of their home countries. This trust also includes the opportunity for increased trade between the US and Africa through the diaspora marketplace. She has spent a great deal of time with entrepreneurs as an Angel Investor at her Innovation Hub in Zimbabwe.
Phillipa Sibanda is a graduate of Texas Tech University with a Bachelor of Clinical Services Management and hold degrees in Business Administration and Respiratory Care. She is a mother and her hobbies include playing the guitar, flying single engine aircraft and drones.
